B-Scan is an important adjuvant for the clinical assessment of various ocular and orbital diseases
Scan that shows the data collected when scanning the transducer pair in the direction of the sound beam transversely across a weld. The B-scan image is often observed for an individual scan line, allowing through wall sizing of indications. Typical applications to be found within ultrasonic phased array inspection.
