Used in maintenance of facilities, mean inspection of equipment and structures using either or all of raw human senses such as a hearing, vision, touch and smell or any non-specialised inspection equipment. Testing requiring Ultrasonic, Infrared equipment, etc. are not typically regarded as Visual Testing as these testing methodologies require specialized equipment, certification and training.
